Pan Granulation Rate

Disc granulator is a new type of inclined plate pelletizing equipment, the granulation rate is more than 95%. The granulator of disc granulator has three discharge ports, which is convenient for intermittent production and greatly improves the labor efficiency. The production capacity can reach 24t / h. The reducer and motor are driven by flexible belt to make the starting stable and reduce the impact force. The bottom of the pelletizing pan is reinforced with a number of radiating steel plates, which are durable and non deformable. The thickened base design eliminates the need for anchor bolts. The main gear of granulator is quenched by high frequency, and its service life is doubled.

How does it work?

The raw powder is evenly wetted by the atomized water in the material mixer to form a spherical core with very uniform particle size, and then sent to the spherical disc for spherical formation. The moisture content of the ball should be controlled at 12-14%. Most of the water should be added to the twin shaft mixer. Only a small amount of make-up water is added to the ball plate, and the amount of water added is controlled at about 0 to 3%.

The dry powder is directly added to the spherical plate and sprayed with appropriate amount of water. The core of raw material enters into the ball disc and is affected by centrifugal force, friction force and gravity, and moves along the parabola. Due to the adhesiveness and plasticity of materials, the cores adhere to each other and grow gradually in the process of movement. When the tilt angle, the height of the disc edge, the rotation speed and the humidity of the disc remain unchanged, the balls with different particle sizes will roll down from the edge of the disc at different exit angles due to different gravity. In the continuous rolling process, the ball constantly discharges water from the ball surface. Due to the cohesiveness of the material and the natural volatility of the liquid film on the surface, the ball has a certain strength, and then the swash plate body rotates.
