The treated microbial strains are sprinkled on the disc material through the liquid component distributor of the pan fertilizer granulator, so that each particle is coated with microbial strains from the inside to the outside. The rotating disk and its edge have friction and centrifugal effect on the material, and the powder gradually gathers into the sphere. Due to the difference of particle mass, the gravity and centrifugation are different. When gravity and centrifugation increase enough to overcome friction between particles, they are thrown out of the disk, and smaller particles remain in the circle. 4. The fertilizer is transported to the biological fertilizer dryer, and the initial drying of the fertilizer is completed by using the large airflow generated by the fan and the low-temperature hot air. Due to the species, the drying temperature is strictly controlled, and the drying temperature is lower than the survival temperature of the species.

5. Transport to the thermal screening separation particles and return the fine particles directly to the disc feeder as the core continues to participate in adhesion of the particles to the ball.

6. Transfer to the secondary biological fertilizer dryer to make full use of the high air volume and micro heat to dry bacterial fertilizer.

7. Transfer organic fertilizer cooler to cooling fertilizer by natural or forced cold air.

8. Transfer to finished product screening machine. The large particles are crushed by the crusher and returned to the disc homogenizer to continue to participate in the ball.

9. A small amount of microorganisms and bacteria are lost on the surface of the particles passing through the dryer, and the microbial species on the surface of the particles are supplemented by the coating machine. 




10. Transfer to automatic packing scale for weighing, packaging and storage.

11. The drying, cooling and workshop dust are treated by cyclone dust collector, dust removal room and wet washing to meet the standard and empty.

The disc is mounted at a certain inclination. The material in the rotating disc rolls rapidly with the rotation of the main body of the disc. When it rises to the highest position, it falls vertically under the block of the scraper. 

In the process of rotating the disk, it is squeezed and rolled by the disk wall under the action of centrifugal force. As a result of these all-round mechanical extrusion, rolling, collision, powder materials gathered together, with the help of the surface tension of the liquid phase, the "mother ball" is formed. With the increase of "mother ball", the particles are gradually spheroidized into complete particles, and the strength increases gradually from small to large. 

The granulation process is completed until the particle size of the finished product overflows from the edge of the disc. The disc granulator has a good classification function, so that the powder material grows from the bottom of the disc to the earth, forming particles overflow to the outer disk. 

With the increase of the diameter of the outer disk, the linear velocity of the particles increases suddenly. Particles are rolled and rubbed to form spherical particles. Larger particles are prevented from spilling into the hopper by the discharge plate and then sent to the next process by the belt conveyor.

For example, the smaller the diameter of the pelletizing disk is, the lower the disk height is, the larger the inclination angle of the disk is, and the higher the rotation speed is; if the disk height is increased, the inclination angle and rotation speed are higher. The smaller the tilt, the lower the speed.

As a NPK compound fertilizer production equipment, another factor affecting the disc granulator is the tilt angle of the disc. The angle of inclination should not be less than 35 ° during granulation, otherwise the material will stick to the disc and rotate with the disc body. However, the larger the inclination angle is, the faster the downward rolling speed is, and the smaller the overflow particles are. The most suitable slant point of the disk is related to the diameter of the disk, that is, the slope of the disk decreases with the increase of the disk diameter. 

This is because the end velocity of particles moving along the disk surface increases as the disk diameter increases. In order to avoid the impact and fracture of other particles when the particles are down, the tilt of the disk must be reduced.

Pan Pelletizer Working Principle

The main structure of disc granulator is disc.
